A standard domestic scaffold for a house can usually be erected within a day. Larger commercial structures or more complex designs take longer. We will give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.
If any part of the scaffold stands on the public highway, including the pavement, a scaffolding licence is needed from the local council. We will let you know whether your job needs one when we quote.
Under the Work at Height Regulations, scaffolding must be inspected after it is erected, at intervals of no more than seven days, and after anything that could affect its safety, such as high winds.
